Dental Anxiety Treatment in Brisbane

For some people, a visit to the dentist can be frightening or even terrifying. This can prevent them from seeking professional dental care leading to a decline in dental health and affecting their general well being.

We understand that dental fear is very complex and is formed through many factors such as bad experiences, stories from friends and family, embarrassment or even a sense of loss of control.

Many other factors are responsible in shaping our emotions and behaviours at the dentist.

At Be Well Dental, we hope to build a trusting relationship with you through compassionate listening and communication in order to help identify the roots of your fears. We are here for you and we will help you through the challenges that you may face with your dental visits. Our friendly and supportive team use gentle techniques, reassuring guidance and time to ensure that your experience with us is as comfortable and pleasant as possible. It is our goal to ensure that you are at ease every time you come to see us for your oral health care.

We’ve designed our practice settings in such a way that you will feel calm and relax when you come to see us. Our patient lounge is a space for you to unwind before your appointment. We have bathroom facilities for you to freshen up before you leave our practice.

In the treatment rooms, you can watch a DVD from our collection or listen to our selection of music. Alternatively, you can bring your own favourite DVD/ CD!

We understand that some dental fears may require many positive experiences with us to transform. In these circumstances, our dentists may prescribe analgesics, oral sedation, inhalation sedation or a combination of these to help ease you into dental treatments. These methods are tailored to your specific situation. We believe that with some positive experiences under your belt, your dental fears will lessen with time.
