Veneers are thin layers of resin or ceramic material that covers the surface of the teeth, effectively masking any discolourations and improving the shape and alignment of teeth.

Direct Veneers

Direct resin bonding is a wonderfully conservative technique that can hide small blemishes and provide an excellent colour match to improve the appearance of your front teeth. Tooth preparation is often not required and it will usually only take one visit with us to achieve a great transformation. Direct resin bonding may be a less expensive option than ceramic veneers in selected case and can sometimes be a provisional measure before replacement by ceramic veneers. Due to the nature of resin/plastic, this type of veneer is not as long lasting as ceramic veneers and is more prone to chipping, breaking and staining. Fortunately these can be repaired easily at little expense.

Severe discolouration or irregularities may not be masked by direct resin bonding.

Ceramic Veneers

Ceramic veneers are tooth coloured ceramic shells carefully crafted to bond to the front surfaces of teeth to improve their colour, shape and alignment.
Two or three visits may be necessary to prepare the teeth and fit the veneers. Our dentist will discuss your needs with you and plan the treatment to best suit your situation.

Trauma, dental decay and root canal treatment may weaken the structural integrity of a tooth and may lead to the eventual loss of the tooth.

A dental crown is a restoration that covers the entire tooth, ultimately embracing and protecting the tooth. The crown can reduce the risk of crack propagation and therefore reduce the potential of tooth loss due to tooth fracture.

A bridge looks like your normal teeth and is used to replace one or more missing teeth. Bridges are support by the teeth on either side of the space.
