Dr Will Huynh
Dr Will Huynh has been a local of the area most of his life. After graduating from the University of Queensland in 2006, he practised in regional centres of Gympie, Maryborough and Toowoomba for several years before returning to Brisbane.
Dr Will is dedicated to being mindful and present with his patients. He provides quality care to his patients whilst always holding their comfort and peace of mind in the highest regard. He continues to advance his knowledge through regularly attending continuing professional development courses.
Will practices mindfulness meditation and enjoys quality time in many of the simple things in life like spending the time with his family, cooking and any chance to be with nature.
Dr Bao Tran Nguyen
Dr Bao Tran Nguyen was born in Vietnam and lived there until she was age five. She lived in a Malaysian refugee camp for over four years before being settled in Brisbane. Though Dr Bao loves travelling all over the world, she is so grateful to call Brisbane home.
To earn her dental degree, Dr Bao attended the University of Queensland and graduated with First Class Honour and the Dean’s Commendation Award in 2006.
Bao is gentle in nature and takes a calm and caring approach to dentistry. She is very approachable, with many patients being comfortable discussing any of their concerns with her. She is also wonderful with children and shows them the fun side to keeping teeth healthy.
Dr Bao loves being a dentist at Be Well Dental because she starts each day with the opportunity to engage and connect with her patients and team. This provides her with a sense of purpose and belonging. She loves making a positive impact on the well-being of others.
When she is away from the dental clinic, you will find Dr Bao reading Chinese and Vietnamese period novels, and she reads nearly every night. When she has a little more time, she uses her artistry to make things and for crafting. She uses calligraphy to relax her mind. Recently, Dr Bao has taken up gardening.
Dr Trang Truong
Dr Trang Truong grew up locally in West End, attending West End State School and Brisbane State High. She graduated from the University of Queensland with Honours in 2006. After practising interstate, she is excited to be back home and caring for patients at Be Well Dental. She attended the University of Queensland for her dental degree and began working with us at Be Well Dental in 2020. Dr Trang is lifelong friends with Drs Will and Bao.
Trang enjoys all areas of dentistry, with a keen interest in periodontal (gum) health and cosmetic dentistry. She is committed to providing exceptional dental care through frequent attendance at professional development courses. She has a friendly and gentle personality, patients finding their visit an enjoyable one.
Dr Trang loves having the privilege of being able to care for another person’s oral health. She also cherishes the life-long relationships she is developing with patients and their families.
In her free time, Dr Trang enjoys sharing recipes but spends most of her time chasing after her super-cute toddler.
Alyssa attended the Queensland University of Technology and South Bank Institute of TAFE, to complete her Diploma in Dental Prosthetics and Certificate III in Dental Assisting. She joined our Be Well Dental team in 2016.
Alyssa loves the work culture at Be Well Dental. It’s a place where everyone looks after one another and can rely on each other. She enjoys developing relationships with our lovely patients and connecting with them. Alyssa recognises that everyone has a story to tell, and developing that genuine connection makes her work so rewarding.
When away from the dental clinic, you will find Alyssa doing calligraphy, hiking and singing.
