How do I know if I’ve developed an infection after a tooth extraction?

Signs of infection include increasing pain 2 - 3 days after the extraction, swelling that worsens instead of improves, a bad taste or smell in your mouth, pus or discharge from the site, or a fever. If you experience any of these symptoms, please contact us promptly so we can assess and treat the issue early.

Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks. Before proceeding, you should seek a second opinion from an appropriately qualified health practitioner.
