Be Well Dental

How do I prepare my child for their dental visit?

Keep it light, positive, and fun! Avoid using words like “pain” or “needle,” or “be brave”,  and instead talk about the visit as a chance to count teeth, take some cool pictures, or meet new friends. At Be Well Dental, we use a gentle, mindful approach to help children feel safe and confident. Many of our team are parents themselves, so we know how to help little ones feel at ease.

You might like to show your child a video of Bodhi’s visit at the dentist.

Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks, and we recommend seeking a second opinion from an appropriately qualified health practitioner before proceeding.
